Contrasting Polka Dots!
This eye-catching design shows best in natural light. It's sure to confuse many as they wonder how the same-colored polka dots show. The answer: matte topcoat! Matte topcoat covers the natural shine from nail polish to give it a flat look. For this design you will need just one color and some matte topcoat. First I painted on two coats of this beautiful purple by Wet n' Wild called "On a Trip". As soon as it dried, I used a thick coat of "Matte Me Crazy" also by Wet n' Wild (purchased from Walmart). Finally I used a large dotting tool to add the polka dots using the same color. DO NOT USE A TOPCOAT, it will ruin the contrasting effect of the matte polish. I hope you enjoy this design.
